Three men arrested after a gun is fired on H-1 near Kunia Offramp

Three men were arrested Sunday night after someone reportedly fired a gun on the H-1 freeway.

Police said a caller reported a firearm being fired from a moving vehicle in the Waianae-bound lanes of H-1 near the Kunia Offramp about 11:20 p.m. A vehicle matching the description was later seen on Farrington Highway and stopped by police near Palani Street in Waianae. Officers found a firearm and arrested the men, ages 27 to 33.

One Waianae man, 33, was arrested for investigation of reckless endangering, driving without a license and weapons offenses. Another Waianae man, 31, was arrested on suspicion of several firearm offenses and an ammunition offense. An Aiea man, 27, was arrested on warrants and for a liquor violation.
