No. 3 Hawaii sweeps New Mexico State for WAC volleyball title

Jane Croson put down 16 kills and Kanani Danielson added 10 as No. 3 Hawaii swept New Mexico State in the Western Athletic Conference tournament title volleyball match 25-22, 25-18, 25-20 tonight in Las Vegas.
The Rainbow Wahine (28-1) won their 23rd straight match as well as their 11th WAC tournament championship.
Danielson added 17 digs for her 16th double-double en route to being named the Most Outstanding Player. Joining her on the all-tournament team were Croson and Brittany Hewitt.
The Aggies (23-9) got eight kills from Meredith Hays
Hawaii finishes out the regular season Friday with a match at Cal State Fullerton.
