Makaha man charged with November sex assault

Prosecutors charged a 20-year-old Makaha man who allegedly sexually assaulted a 41-year-old woman last month in the Waianae area.
Police said the woman reported being sexually assaulted by the suspect on Nov. 14 at 7:24 p.m.
Police arrested Carlos Lopes-Salas on Wednesday.
Prosecutors charged him Thursday with first-degree sexual assault, attempted first-degree sexual assault and third-degree sexual assault.
He was being held on $75,000 bail.
