500-gallon waste-water spill enters Waolani Stream

Signs are posted warning the public to stay out of Waolani Stream in Nuuanu after a 500-gallon wastewater spill in front of 65 Ahi Place.
The flow was repaired but discharge entered the stream through a nearby storm drain, the state Department of Health said.
The public is urged to stay out of the stream from Ahi Place to Vineyard Boulevard until signs are removed.
