A magnitude 3.9 earthquake struck Hawaii island this afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The small quake was centered about 11 miles southwest of Volcano at 2:22 p.m.and 31 miles south-southwest of Hilo, at a depth of 19.5 miles, the USGS said.
Residents from all over the island reported feeling the shaking, the agency said.
