A power outage affected 300 customers in Waipahu this morning after a pick-up truck slammed into a utility pole.
The accident happened at about 2:41 a.m. on Leokane Street.
Hawaiian Electric Co. workers restored power to most of the 300 customers affected by the outage by 6 a.m., according to spokesman Peter Rosegg. Crews are working to replace the pole.
The remaining customers without power may have to wait until the pole is replaced sometime this afternoon, Rosegg said.
