Police seek public's help in solving Kalihi murder

Police are asking for the public’s help in a murder investigation after a man’s body was found with stab wounds in Kalihi.

The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s office identified the man as Acme John, 42, of Hono­lulu. He died of stab wounds to the heart, and the manner of death was homicide, the Medical Examiner’s office said.

Police said a pedestrian found John’s body in the middle of Kahai Street near Kalihi Street at about 2:11 a.m. Wednesday.

Anyone with information about the killing is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME from a cellphone.
