UC San Diego sweeps Hawaii in men's volleyball

Senior hitter Steven Hunt put down 13 kills, but it was not enough as No. 11 Hawaii fell to unranked UC San Diego 25-21, 25-21, 25-22 in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation volleyball match tonight at the Stan Sheriff Center.
The Warriors drop to 1-1 overall and in MPSF play.
Carl Eberts led the Tritons (1-1, 1-1) with 13 kills and three aces.
Hawaii hosts the 18th Outrigger Hotels Invitational beginning Thursday. In the field are UCLA, Springfield and Lewis.
