Symposium to honor Tuskegee Airmen at Pacific Aviation Museum

By Associated Press

The Pacific Aviation Museum at Pearl Harbor is holding a symposium Sunday to honor the Tuskegee Airmen, the first black aviators in the U.S. military.

The symposium will feature the film Red Tail. Former Tuskegee airman Phillip Baham will speak, along with Dorothy Goldborough, a University of Hawaii lecturer and wife of a Tuskegee airman.

A panel discussion will be held afterward. A representative will also give updates on the Hawaii chapter of Tuskegee Airmen.

The event will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. It's free to museum members and included in the price of regular admission for non-members.
