The Navy is investigating a bomb threat at the Pearl Harbor Navy Exchange.

A Navy Region Hawaii spokeswoman says the Navy Exchange was evacuated Thursday after receiving a bomb threat via telephone.

Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Base Security, federal fire officials, Navy officials and military dogs responded to the scene.

A safety zone extended into the parking lot.

After a search, nothing was discovered. The Navy Exchange complex later reopened.
