Waimea man charged in Kauai sex assault

Kauai police arrested a Waimea man on Tuesday who was wanted on sexual assault charges.
A grand jury indicted Chance Taala, 18, on three counts of third-degree sexual assault, Class C felonies, and one count of sexual assault in the first degree, a Class A felony.
He was being held in lieu of $105,000 bail.
Taala's case is set for jury trial on May 7.
