Mom hospitalized after being hit with stool as her sons fought

A Kahuku mother was taken to the hospital after being hit with a stool while trying to break up a fight between her two sons Sunday night.
When the mother tried to separate the brothers, one of them picked up a wooden stool and allegedly struck his mother, Honolulu police said today.
The 31-year-old suspect was arrested at the scene on suspicion of second-degree assault.
Police did not give details on the extent of the woman's injuries.
