This young man must be a joy to have in the classroom. I am sure he is consistently respectful and hard working. He is one of the 100% who must under NCLB meet academic expectations.

And you wonder why our educational system is not working? Instead of going home to get it from his parents, his parents will come to the school and blame the teacher. Then the parent will blog about how the school is not teaching the kid.

He's such a nice boy... He'd never hurt a soul. He's never been in trouble before. That's a bunch of crap. Throw the kid in JV and arrest his parents and deport them back to Microneisia!

What happened to Scared Straight? They should send these kids to a prison to receive a nice little lecture on what they have ahead for them if they keep doing what they're doing. They should be shown what it is like to be told when they can eat, what they can eat and what they can do on a 24 hour basis. That'll scare a lot of these hoodlums.

This is a Touch issue and has been for quite some time. Public Schools have been the "Dumping Ground" for quite some time now and a Solution has to made to this problem. First, the Teacher's are in Harm's Way everyday in the classroom. Second, the Students that want to learn are being "held-up" by the trouble makers both in class and outside. Last but surely not least, We as Adults Must be and Stay Proactive in the disciplining of our children. We cannot turn them loose upon society as animals, but as refined and cultured young minds, to be taught, educated, and nurtured. As the saying goes, "It takes a Village to raise a Child", we short of assaulting them, we must be dedicated in teaching them with Patience, Understanding of their "youth" and Tough Love when needed.

I suspect a lot of "tough love" is going to be meted out to this bully.
