Man arrested for Kalihi bus stop robbery

Police arrested an 18-year-old  man who allegedly robbed another man at a Kalihi bus stop .

Police said the suspect approached his 18-year-old victim just after 9 p.m. Tuesday, asked to borrow the man’s cellphone, then threatened the man and took his money.

Officers located the suspect, then arrested and searched him at the Kalihi station, where they found an ice pipe, police said. He was arrested for second-degree robbery and several drug offenses.
