Female mo-ped driver critically injured in Liliha crash

A 21-year-old woman suffered massive head injuries about 1:30 p.m. Thursday when the mo-ped she was driving struck the side of a pickup truck at North School and Alaneo streets in Liliha.
Police said the woman was taken in critical condition to a hospital.
She was driving west on School Street when a truck driven by a 42-year-old man turned left on Alaneo Street in front of the mo-ped. The woman was not wearing a helmet, police said.
