Police arrest man in assault with frying pan

A 29-year-old homeless man is in custody after he allegedly hit a woman with a frying pan during an argument Sunday in Kakaako’s Mother Waldron Park.
Police said suspect was arguing with a 26-year-old woman just after noon when he grabbed a frying pan and allegedly hit the woman. He faces a possible second-degree assault charge.
