Man arrested for allegedly punching woman in vehicle downtown

Police arrested a 40-year-old man after officers saw him beating a woman seated in her vehicle in downtown, police said.
Plainclothes officers who responded to an argument call about 1:20 p.m. Thursday saw the man punching the 41-year-old woman and arrested him for investigation of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and criminal property damage.
Police said the two had been living in the vehicle for a few days.
