Freshman Scott Squier allowed three hits over eight scoreless innings and Hawaii won its eighth in a row, beating Wichita State 4-0 on Saturday afternoon at Les Murakami Stadium.

Max Duval hit a two-run double and Collin Bennett had two hits and two RBIs for the Rainbows (9-3).

Johnny Coy had two hits for the Shockers (5-6).

Squier (2-1) walked two and struck out seven to win his second straight decision. He has thrown 14 straight scoreless innings since he was roughed up for seven runs in 2 2/3 innings in his UH debut against Oregon.

Jesse Moore worked a perfect ninth to end the game.

Hawaii will try for its second consecutive series sweep in the finale on Sunday at 12:05. The Rainbows haven't had a nine-game winning streak since 1998.
