Missing Japanese tourist found safe

Police said a visitor from Japan who went missing Thursday has been found safe.

Yoshimichi Maegaki returned to the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel about 5 p.m. today in good condiiton.

Maegaki, 60, told his family Thursday about 6 p.m. that he was going to walk from the shopping center to the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel.

Maegaki needs daily medication and does not speak English, police said.
