Stephen Ventimilia continued to stay hot offensively, going 2-for-4 with two runs scored as Hawaii defeated San Francisco 3-2 on Sunday to take three of four in the series at Les Murakami Stadium.

The Rainbows finished 14-7 on their 21-game homestand to start the season.

Lawrence Chew (1-1) worked three scoreless innings of relief to pick up the win. Hawaii allowed only three earned runs in the entire series against USF (10-11).

Pi'ikea Kitamura and Zack Swasey each drove in runs the Rainbows, who will play five games in six days on the road beginning Tuesday at Portland.

Jesse Moore worked the final two innings to earn his second save.
