Man, 27, arrested for stealing vehicle in Kuakini area

Police arrested a man Friday afternoon after he allegedly stole a vehicle without the approval of its owner earlier this week.
Police said the 27-year-old man, of no local address, asked to borrow a vehicle belonging to a woman, 24, in the Kuakini area about 10:40 p.m. Tuesday
When she refused, the suspect allegedly used physical force to snatch the keys from her and then drove away.
He was located and arrested on a count of second-degree robbery on Desha Lane in Kalihi.
