Honolulu police officers tracked down the 40-year-old alleged getaway driver in a car break-in Friday in the Ala Moana area, but were still looking for the man’s female accomplice.

Police said a 49-year-old woman who owns the vehicle saw a woman in her 20s to 30s exit from the victim’s vehicle with the victim’s property about 4:15 p.m.

The victim saw the woman jump into a vehicle driven by the man. Responding officers found the man and woman, but they ran. Officers captured the man, who has no local address, at Auahi and Kamani streets and arrested him for investigation of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and driving without a license.

The woman could not be found.
