Honolulu police have three suspects in custody for investigation of attempted murder in a shooting Thursday night at the Nuuanu Garden Apartments.

Police said an argument between a 27-year-old man and three other men escalated into gunfire at about 10:13 p.m.

Two suspects, a 26-year-old Pearl City man and a 30-year-old Kalihi Valley man, drove away. Police stopped their getaway vehicle on School Street near Houghtailing Street at about 10:56 p.m. and arrested them after witnesses identified them.

Police said they arrested another suspect, a 35-year-old Kuhio Park Terrace resident, breaking into a home on Robello Lane at about the same time. He was also arrested for investigation of burglary, in addition to attempted murder.

The victim went to the Queen's Medical Center in critical condition with multiple gunshots, an Emergency Medical Services spokesman said. Police said the victm was later upgraded to stable condition.

Wait... I'm confused? Did the shooting happen at Nuuanu Gardens Apartments or in the house on Robelo Lane? Was it the 27 year old man who got into the argument with three men at 10:13 pm or was it the 35 year old KPT resident who broke into the Robelo Lane home? What the heck?

Story is unclear as to who shot whom. 50 year at the home pulled a gun out, then a 26 and a 30 year old attempted escape and were arrested. There was an argument between a 27 year old and 3 other man, and the police arrested a 35 year old man attempting a break-in at kuhio Park Terrace. Who is the critically injured victim? Like the whose on 1st, joke of fame (Lou Costello and Bud Abbott (sic))

The shooting incident happened at Nuuanu Gardens. The 27 yr old who got into the argument with the 3 suspects is the victim who got shot. Two of the three suspects were caught in the getaway vehicle on School St. The third and last suspect was caught while breaking into a home on Robello Ln. It was not easy to understand all this from the article. Does anyone proof read articles before they are published?

So the KPT suspect thinks Robello Lane is upper class. Heck, it's only a hop, skip, and jump from Mayor Wright Housing. Dang.

I hope that the Good Citizens of Honolulu, address these Issues at the next Political Town Hall meeting. Whenever they have one. Mayoral Candidates are all out of touch. The only real "Difference Makers" are the Honolulu Police Department. Day in and Day out, they Fight Crime and try very Hard to Make the Streets safe for all of Us. Then the INCOMPETENT Politicians, let them back out to Continue their Reign of Terror! Vigilantes Unite and Let's Take care of our own Problems NOW!!!!!
