An 18-year-old Waianae man allegedly stole a car while intoxicated, drove without a license, and crashed into a stone wall, injuring a pedestrian Saturday night, police said.

The suspect allegedly took another man's car from a party in Waianae at about 6:45 p.m., police said. The car's owner, a 39-year-old man, was at the same party drinking with friends and had left his keys in the car.

The thief was intoxicated and hit a stone wall, police said. A piece of the wall struck the leg of a man walking in the area, causing minor injuries.

Officers arrested the alleged driver at Farrington Highway and Maipalaoa Road at 7:20 p.m. on suspicion of auto theft, negligent injury, driving without a license, and a warrant.
