Hawaii, Washington and Oregon were graded with a 'B' for policies supporting working families, according to a report released today by the National Partnership for Women & Families.
Alabama, Delaware, Georgia and 15 other states received 'F' grades for what the organization called weak policies on supporting working families.
The F states fail to provide a single benefit or program to help families before and after the birth, adoption, or foster placement of a child, the report said.
