One lane of Dole Street to be closed for UH dorm move-out

By Star-Advertiser staff

POSTED:

Officials will close the right Kaimuki-bound lane of Dole Street in front of Johnson Halls this week to create a temporary loading zone for students moving out of the dormitories, the University of Hawaii announced.

The lane closure will take place Wednesday from 1 to 4 p.m., and Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Students from the nearby Frear Hall residence will be moving out Wednesday through Saturday. The Frear Hall loading zone is not on Dole Street. UH asks people attending Saturday's commencement ceremonies to avoid parking in the Frear Hall area.
