Lost hiker rescued from Maui's Iao Valley

Maui Fire Department personnel rescued a female hiker who had lost her way while hiking in Iao Valley Sunday.
After a land and air search, rescue personnel made cell phone contact with the woman, who told them she was by a stream with her dog.
The rescuers located the woman and airlifted her and her dog to a landing zone established in the parking lot.
No injuries were reported.
