Hawaii County police close Highway 19 due to accident

Hawaii island police are warning that Highway 19 near Honolii Bridge in Hilo is closed tonight because of a traffic accident.
Traffic is being detoured through Paukaa, police said about 8:40 p.m. The road was expected to reopen by 10:40 p.m.
Further information on the accident was not available.
