Donovan's salary second from bottom among Mountain West ADs

Jim Donovan of the University of Hawaii ranks ninth among 11 athletic directors from current or incoming Mountain West Conference members in base salary.
Donovan's $240,000 base topped only those from Wyoming ($214,884) and Air Force ($165,300), according to a survey of 2011 figures published by USA Today.
The conference leaders were New Mexico's Paul Krebs ($408,391) and Nevada-Las Vegas' Jim Livengood ($350,000), according to the survey.
USAToday also said MWC commissioner Craig Thompson received $600,000.
