Free diver's death in Kailua Bay ruled an accident

Christopher Nee, whose body was found in Kailua Bay after he disappeared while free-diving this weekend, drowned, the Honolulu Medical Examiner's Office said.
Nee's death was ruled an accident.
Nee, 54, went free-diving with a friend at 4 p.m. Saturday, but didn't come out at the agreed upon time a couple hours later. A search was launched at 9:45 p.m. Saturday.
Firefighters and lifeguards found Nee's body Sunday morning, in about 20 feet of water and about 400 yards from Castles Beach.
