Critical mo-ped crash closes 2 lanes of Ala Moana

Police have closed two west-bound lanes of Ala Moana Boulevard fronting of the shopping center to investigate a critical mo-ped crash.
Ewa-bound traffic, reduced to one lane, is backed up to Waikiki.
Police said the mo-ped driver was critically injured in the crash about 5:40 p.m.
An Emergency Medical Services supervisor, however, said the man, of unknown age, was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
