Two men made it back to shore with only minor injuries after being swept into the ocean near Oheo Gulch near Hana, Maui Sunday.
Fire rescue personnel responded to the 5:07 p.m. call to the area, also known as the Seven Sacred Pools. But park rangers told them that both men made it back to shore by 5:25 p.m.
The two men, in their mid-20s, suffered scrapes and cuts, but declined medical attention.
