Five people, 3 of them children, were injured in a single-car crash near the Nanakuli McDonalds

Five people, three of them children, were seriously injured when their vehicle ran into a wooden utility pole across the Nanakuli McDonalds, city emergency responders said.

Hospitalized following the 4:20 p.m. crash on Farrington Highway was a 32-year-old man, a 29-year-old woman, two boys ages 5 and 3, and a seven-month-old infant of an indeterminate gender, said a spokeswoman for the city Department of Emergency Services.
