James Andrasick, former Matson Navigation Co. chairman and CEO, and former Alexander and Baldwin Inc. CFO, has been named a director of Simpson Manufacturing Co. Inc., based in Pleasanton, Calif.
Andrasick currently is a trustee and finance committee chairman for Mills College, and also serves as a trustee of the U.S. Coast Guard Foundation.
Through subsidiary Simpson Strong-Tie Co. Inc., Simpson Manufacturing designs and engineers wood-to-wood, wood-to-concrete and wood-to-masonry connectors and fastening systems, among other products. It trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol SSD.
