Honolulu police arrested a 16-year-old boy and are looking for two other juvenile suspects who allegedly assaulted and attempted to rob two 11-year-old boys yesterday afternoon in Makiki.

Police said the boys were walking home just before 4 p.m. when three suspects cornered them and demanded their property. One suspect allegedly punched one of the boys when he refused.

Police said a passerby broke up the robbery and the victims escaped and called police.

Police located the 16-year-old suspect nearby and arrested him on suspicion of attempted robbery. The other two suspects fled and were still at large.
