Honolulu police are appealing to the public for help to find the man who robbed the Reynolds Recycling station in Nanakuli a week ago.

An armed robber approached a Reynolds employee on June 19 at about 8:56 a.m., brandishing a handgun and demanding money. The suspect fled from the recycling center at 89-102 Farrington Highway and headed in the mauka direction.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department issued a press release this morning describing the suspect as a male in his 20s, about 5-foot-8 inches, 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a blue hooded shirt, light blue shorts and black shoes.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300, or *CRIME via cellular phone.  Free cellular calls are provided by AT&T, Nextel Hawaii, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless Hawaii, Mobi PCS, and Hawaiian Tel.  The public may now send anonymous text and web tips.
