Kauai man died after losing control of vehicle, striking guardrail

Police said a 40-year-old Wainiha man who died Tuesday lost control of his vehicle while traveling on Kuhio Highway in Kauai.
Sometime before 11 a.m., Govinda Jaya Bonderov was traveling on the highway in a Nissan sports utility vehicle near the Lumahai Bridge when he lost control and struck a guardrail.
Police said his body was found pinned partially outside the driver-side door.
Autopsy results are pending.
This is the fourth traffic-related fatality on Kauai this year. There were three at this time last year.
