The Honolulu Fire Department helicopter returned to put out hot spots at a brush fire in Makaha this morning.
The slow-moving fire began Saturday afternoon burned about 250 acres by this morning and is still not under control, aid Capt. Carlton Yamada, a fire department spokesman.
The fire department helicopter began water drops this morning in remote and inaccessible areas affected by the fire.
No structures are threatened, no injuries were reported and no evacuation was necessary, Yamada said.
