Miss T.E.E.N. Hawaii earns national crown

Miss T.E.E.N. Hawaii Ashlee Kozuma, 19, was named Miss T.E.E.N. United States at a national pageant Saturday night in Houston.

Kozuma also was named most photogenic.

Kozuma is a 2011 graduate of Sacred Hearts Academy and a special-education major at Kapiolani Community College. She has raised funds for the American Red Cross, Hawaii chapter, and has been active in community campaigns to combat child abuse, according to interviews on KHON2.com.

Kozuma has modeled for the Wilhelmina agency, according to one website, which describes her as 5 feet 7 inches tall and 110 pounds.

She was named Miss T.E.E.N. Hawaii March 11 at the Hawai‘i Convention Center. T.E.E.N. stands for Teens Exemplifying Excellence Nationally.
