By Star-Advertiser staff

A 52-year-old woman was arrested Monday after an officer saw her driving a stolen mo-ped with a punched ignition in Pearl City.

The officer noticed the woman’s mo-ped had numerous violations and stopped her about 8:35 a.m. Monday, police said. A check of the mo-ped’s VIN found it had been reported stolen.

The officer arrested the woman for investigation of unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle.
