Woman arrested for allegedly threatening boyfriend with knife

A 31-year-old woman threatened her boyfriend with a knife in Waikiki after learning he had been romantically pursuing another woman in the neighborhood, police said.
Angered by the discovery, the girlfriend picked up a knife about 7:30 a.m. Thursday and confronted her 48-year-old boyfriend, then grabbed him by the neck and hit him in the face, police said.
Officers responded to the Ala Moana Boulevard condo where the woman lives with her boyfriend and arrested her for investigation of first-degree terroristic threatening and abuse of a household member.
