Honolulu among Travel + Leisure's Top 10 Cities

The annual Travel + Leisure magazine "World's Best" reader's survey ranks Honolulu No. 10 among the top cities in the U.S. and Canada.

Readers ranked the islands of Maui, Kauai, and Hawaii island Nos. 4, 7  and 8, respectively, among the top 10 islands overall, and four isle resorts are among the readers' choices for the overall list of the World's Best Hotels.

Three of the four are Four Seasons Resorts. At No. 40 is the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai on the Big Island; No. 87 is the Koa Kea Hotel & Resort on Kauai; the Four Seasons Resort Lanai, The Lodge at Koele on Lanai is No. 94, and at No. 99, the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea.

Hawaiian Airlines remained readers' No. 3 choice among the top five domestic airlines.

The top 10 cities were:

1.            New York City             

2.            Chicago

3.            San Francisco

4              Charleston

5.            New Orleans

6.            Santa Fe

7.            Vancouver

8.            Savannah           

9.            Quebec City

10.          Honolulu
