Hilo man charged with theft of industrial equipment

Hawaii County police charged a Hilo man today in connection with the theft of industrial equipment from a business sometime between April 16 and April 17.

Frank Eblacas, 45, who gave no permanent address, was charged with seconf-degree theft. His bail was set at $10,000. 

Police said someone stole two Lincoln Welders, a Ford Flatbed Truck and several other tools. Police did not identify the business or its location.

Police ask anyone with information on this case to call Detective James Correa at 961-2289.
