The Hawaii men's basketball team's game against Houston Baptist on Nov. 12 will be nationally televised as part of ESPN's annual College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon.

It marks the fifth straight year UH has participated in the round-the-clock hoops event, which features 11 straight live games. UH's game — also part of the Outrigger Hotels Rainbow Classic — starts at 11 p.m.

"This event has become an exciting tradition in such a short time here at UH," UH coach Gib Arnold said in a statement. "We really love the atmosphere of the late-night tip-off. Our fans really get us going and the student section is awesome. We look forward to another great game this year."

UH is 3-1 in such games, including an 86-67 defeat of Cal State Northridge in the season opener last year.
