Woman arrested for allegedly assaulting boy with dangerous instrument

A 37-year-old woman was arrested today for allegedly assaulting a 17-year-old boy in Hauula.
Police said the woman was arguing with the boy about 7:45 a.m. and assaulted him with an unidentified dangerous instrument.
Officers arrested the woman at her Ahinalu Place home at 8:15 a.m. for investigation of second-degree assault.
Police would not say how the woman and boy are connected.
