By Star-Advertiser staff

POSTED:

A 39-year-old Ewa Beach man was charged after allegedly threatening to kill his estranged wife Monday in Kalihi.

The man called his 32-year-old wife while she was working and told her he was going to kill her and damage her vehicle, police said.

The woman heard tires screeching in the parking and went to check on her vehicle in time to see her husband driving away on Nimitz Highway.

Marlon Abdon was arrested Tuesday in Waipahu. He was charged with two counts of first-degree terroristic threatening and three count of violating a protective order. His bail was set at $50,000 and he appeared in court today.
