Makakilo residents should expect slow mauka-bound traffic during Thursday afternoon and through the night fronting Malama Market on Makakilo Drive because of a water main break, the Board of Water Supply said.

The break occurred on an 8-inch water main, fronting 92-585 Makakilo Drive, in the right mauka-bound lane.

Water supply crews were sent to the break, which happened about 12:30 p.m.

Four customers are without water. A water wagon will be set up behind Malama Market to provide water to these customers.

The 8-inch line was originally installed in 1968.
