Man arrested for alleged burglary of relative's apartment

Police arrested a 35-year-old man who allegedly burglarized a family member's apartment in Makiki and threatened a 65-year-old woman.

Police said the man entered the apartment unlawfully about 2:25 p.m. Friday, searched the place, and took a 31-year-old woman's property. 

As he was leaving, he allegedly threatened the 65-year-old woman. Police arrested the man at his Piikoi Street apartment at 5:15 p.m. for investigation of first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary.
