Teen girl hurt in ATV accident in Kaaawa

Firefighters rescued a teenager after she was hurt in an all-terrain vehicle accident in Kaaawa Valley.
Honolulu fire Capt. James Todd said firefighter were dispatched at 1:16 p.m. Saturday and found the girl in the back of the valley with family, complaining of pain to her back and leg. She wasn’t able to ride the vehicle back out of the valley, Todd said.
Firefighters picked her up by helicopter and transferred her to paramedics in the front of the valley.
