Police looking for suspect in rifle incident

Police are looking for a man who allegedly fired rifle in the air Sunday night in Waialua.

A 58-year-old Waialua resident told police he heard banging on the wall of his home at 8:22 p.m. When he looked outside, the homeowner said he saw a man wearing mask and carrying a rifle. After he locked his door, the suspect banged on his door, then ran to the side of the house and fired a shot into the air, police said.

No injuries were reported.
